Défi des Couleurs Simard offers a number of trail races that showcase the scenic fall foliage of Côte-de-Beaupré. The trail races depart Chalet St-Julien and complete technical and constantly undulating loops around the campsite before heading west to the lower slopes of the Mont-Sainte-Anne ski resort, the location of the finish. The Wandering Moose is the last event of the season in P.A.C.E. Trail series. Expect the trails to be flowy with lots of single track, but with ample technical sections and challenges, and the event vibe to be laid back and friendly. Held on the Thanksgiving weekend every year, this is a chance to close out the trail season feeling thankful to be part of this amazing community of trail runners.

The Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve is the trail runner’s dream with its challenging terrain that will take you alongside pristine lakes, through a wetland with its tier of beaver dams, up and over some steep inclines and either tiptoeing or splashing through the occasional creek or mud hole. Be Fearless Trail Race is designed to celebrate running in a supportive and empowering environment, and to raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
