Toronto’s signature running event is the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Offered as part of the Canada Running Series, #TWM, was the first Canadian marathon to be awarded the prestigious IAAF gold label status. All races are flat, fast and festive attracting elite, recreational and first-time runners alike. The marathon and half courses start and finish near City Hall and take participants on a tour of some of Toronto’s most iconic attractions, notable landmarks and unique neighbourhoods.      

The Beneva Quebec City Marathon is the provincial capital’s premier running event. The course passes many of the city’s historic and famous landmarks and maintains a number of rolling hills. The event includes half marathon, 10K, and 5K distance options as well.        

The Fredericton Fall Classic features a half-marathon, 10K and 5K that run in and around downtown Fredericton. Participants cross the mighty Saint John River where the 5K runners turn around, and along paved trails to the town of Marysville—the 10K turn-around—and further along the Nashwaak River before hitting the half-way point and heading back downtown.    

Melissa’s Road Race is one of Canada’s most historic and popular running events. Melissa’s features sensationally scenic routes in and around Banff National Park offering 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distance options. The event is also famous for it’s entertainment along the course, contagious spirit, post-run party and long-sleeved commemorative running shirt featuring local art.  Melissa’s has received multiple awards as Alberta’s Best Road Race and is a longstanding tradition in Banff. The Queen City Marathon is the largest and most popular event in Saskatchewan’s provincial capital offering a distance for everyone runner. All races start near the Conexus Arts Centre and run along the lake and around Wascana Park, one of Canada’s largest urban parks. The marathon loops the lake once then follows a flat and scenic out-and-back along the creek using Regina’s pedestrian pathway system. *Participants are able to choose between an in-person event and/or virtual race experience.  

Ultra Trail Harricana presented by The North Face has become a respected event on the ultra and trail racing scene and takes place in the stunning Charlevoix region of Quebec. Courses take participants deep into the backcountry of Mont Grand-Fonds and pass pristine Boreal forest, shimmering lakes and several mountain ascents, all affording impressive panoramic views.
