Banff is among Canada’s most beautiful and unique destinations. The city hosted its inaugural marathon in 2014 with rave reviews and the event has grown to now include a popular half marathon and family-friendly 10K. The race starts in mountain village of Banff and follow a course that passes crystal clear lakes and rivers, past stunning mountain vistas,  returning alongside the Bow River and over Banff’s famous bridges finishing to cheering crowds in Banff’s downtown Central Park.    

The Tamarack Ottawa Marathon returns to in-person racing for 2022! Virtual events will run in parallel over the month of May to accommodate those living abroad and unable to travel to Ottawa or who wish to continue running or walking in smaller groups. The Ottawa Marathon is Canada’s largest and fastest marathon. One of two World Athletics Gold Label marathon events in Canada, the race attracts thousands of participants, including a world-class contingent of pro-athletes every year.  

The New Balance Chilly Half Marathon, Frigid 10 & Frosty 5K has established itself as a popular early season event to kick off the racing season in Ontario. The 2022 edition will hopefully see a return to in-person racing, but if the race is not in-person it will be hosted as a virtual event.
