The Calgary Marathon Race Weekend offers a distance for every runner, a 50K ultra, marathon, half marathon 10K and 5K. The Mississauga Marathon offers something for every runner, including its signature fast and net downhill marathon course which is ideal for setting a new personal best or qualifying for Boston. The course is a point-to-point race passing through some of Mississauga’s historic neighbourhoods, and along the scenic Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail. The historic Calgary Police Half is considered by many to be the first major running event of the Alberta road race calendar. The start and finish are located at the Mount Royal University Recreation Area. The course proceeds out and around the Glenmore reservoir with scenic views of the city, running through several parks and residential neighbourhoods. 5K and 10K distance options are also offered. The Merrickville Heritage Classic was created to encourage people to get outside and get active through recreational running and to promote good health for all through physical activity. The event offers three distances, 2K, 5K, and 10K to provide a choice for all levels of runners. All races are certified by Athletics Canada.  

Nimble Bear is one tough cookie of a race. Whether you participate in the 10K, 25K or 50K events, you’ll be sure to feel challenged. The 50K course will roughly be 2 loops of the 25K, which is notably one of the hardest of its distance within BC, with 3350 feet of technical and steep terrain. Part of the Circuit de course à pied du Grand Montréal/Greater Montreal Running Circuit, the event takes in the Saint-Laurent district of Montreal. The 5K and 10K races start from the Ateliers Municipaux and run as a figure eight double loop making it ideal for spectating. The course is flat and fast, well-marked. Following the race, participants enjoy healthy refreshments and food at the cafeteria.
