The Siksika Trail Run is the first event in the Indigenous Trail Run Series. The run will take place in Siksika at the Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, and the course will cover 15K of beautiful scenery through the Blackfoot territory and surrounding area where Treaty Seven was signed on the 22nd of September 1877. The fifth race of the Island Series, the Port Alberni Paper Chase 15K is hosted by the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce. The course is a pretty rural route starting from the Cherry Creek Community Centre and running through the trails through the McLean Mill Historic Site.
