Run for Her Life is an annual run organized by The Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada – a national organization that strives to enhance the lives of those affected by or at risk of gynecological cancer. This run/walk is meant to be a fun social event to collectively reaffirm our commitment to healthy lifestyles, raise awareness about gynecologic cancers, and support a charity. Rentless Trail Race is single-track through the Gatineau Hills, with twists, turns, roots, rocks, ups, and downs, and beautiful fall colours, Distances included a family-friendly 3K & 5K, 10K & 21K for new and experienced runners, and 30K & 50K for those who want the ultimate challenge.
Trail-racing and fund-raising come together for the Mad Trapper Mica Run. Choose from three distances, the 3K “Hound Hike”, the 5K “Sweet Spot”, and the 10K “Endurance Junkie”. This run helps defer the costs of fostering dogs, while giving the dog-owning runners an opportunity to participate in an event with their best friend. Dogs welcome but not required
The Polar Bear Run is a chance to push your limits with a rugged and challenging 10k or 5k run through ice and snow and savour the beauty of a snow covered Grand River on the enchanting trails of Elora and Fergus. Runners will face a thrilling challenge through winding, snow-dusted trails, while walkers can take their time, immersed in the breathtaking winter wonderland. This is a family friendly event!

The Northumberland Run Forest Run will give you a chance to move your legs through some beautiful forest trails. You can pick one of 4 options. The 4 hour 3K looped Jenny, the 7.5K Lieutenant Dan, the 9K Bubba, or the Full Gump for 24.6K. The course is single and double track with some dirt access roads, expect steep inclines, and an irregular surface with a loose, uneven base.
Embrace Winter is an official event of Ottawa’s biggest and best winter festival – Winterlude. This scenic run takes you through true Canadian winter landscapes and is a great motivator to stay active this winter. This winter running event has something for everyone: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 3K, and Kids 1K.
