This Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K  and 5K are flat, fast, and beautiful. Enjoy the scenic route along a beautiful, ocean side trail. All distances are an outback design and the route is completely flat! The only challenge you may face is the weather. The Marathon is the last Boston Qualifying course of the year. This welcoming event invites participants and their families to Carleton-sur-Mer on the shores of Baie-des-Chaleurs. The courses start and finish in Parc Germain-Deslauriers and run out-and-back along the shores of the bay affording scenic views. There are a few major hills on the otherwise flat marathon course and fresh refreshments at the finish.    

The Thunderwolves Indoor Marathon event features a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Run /Walk, as well as a Marathon Relay. The full marathon is a 211-lap race and perfect weather is guaranteed for the entire duration! Proceeds from this event support children’s mental health education and prevention initiatives through Children’s Centre Foundation Thunder Bay. Haunted Hustle is an engaging and fun event in the City of Temiskaming Shores, geared towards people of all ages and experience levels. Participants are encouraged to run in costumes. Fee(s) $55-75; $120 (relay)

The ENDURrun is an eight day, seven stage event that totals 80K of running and racing. The “ultimate” competition is for individuals looking to test their maximal endurance.  All stages take place in and around the region of Waterloo and offer excellent organization and race day amenities.    

All races including the half-marathon and (2-4 person) relays begin and end in Rotary Peace Park. The courses follow alongside or above the Yukon River. The trail is well worn and features significant elevation gain and loss so participants should expect an aerobic challenge. The routes are well-marked with trail markers and volunteers are posted at key points to keep everyone on track. After the races, post-race refreshments and festivities are enjoyed by all.  

In Ragnar Trail Relays, teams of 8 or 4-members run relay-style on three different single track loops that start and finish at Ragnar Village. Teams run day and night until each member has completed all three trail loops.

A popular event that takes place in Victoria’s Oak Bay shopping district. Participants embark on a scenic out-and-back tour along the rolling hills of Beach Drive following Vancouver Island’s southeast coast through city parks, beaches and neighbourhoods. All races feature a downhill “sprint-for-glory” finish along Oak Bay Ave.      

PEI Marathon weekend is a two-day event that includes categories for every runner or walker in the family. The Marathon is a scenic point-to-point course starting inside the National Park,  Brackley Beach Entrance and ends in downtown Charlottetown with breath taking scenery during the entire route. Event categories include: Marathon, Half Marathon, 16K Run & Walk, 10K Run & Walk, 5K Run & Walk, Corporate/Team Relay and Kids Run.  

B.C.’s best-kept secret may well be the April Fools’ Run presented by Eastlink. The point-to-point net downhill course from Gibsons to Sechelt offers pristine coastal scenery, West Coast hospitality and potentially fast times. Following the race, participants enjoy hot soup and refreshments, collect a unique finisher’s medal and take part in awards, a costume contest and draw prizes.
