The Toronto Marathon has been a tradition since 1977. The Marathon course is fast, downhill, and scenic. Starting at Mel Lastman Square in North York and finishing at Ontario Place, the Marathon winds through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods. The event also offers a notably fast half marathon, 10K, and 5K, as well as a team relay. Finishers receive one of Canada’s largest marathon medals.

The Fredericton Marathon (Est. 1978) occurs annually on Mother’s Day weekend and offers race options from 5K to the Boston Qualifying marathon. Participants enjoy flat and fast courses on the roads and trails along the majestic Saint John and Nashwaak Rivers. The Howe Island 8K Hustle, is the first of three Island races known as the "Tri-Island Race Series" which also includes The Wolfe Island Classic 5K, and the Amherst Island Wooly Bully 10K.
