The 5 Peaks Central Alberta Race Series race is a chance to race on the beautiful trails in Fish Creek Park. This largely flat course, with a few steep hills, starts at Sikome Beach area, then running out past the Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Centre. 5 Peaks races are known for their incredible staff and volunteers, abundant food, great swag, and commitment to sound environmental practices.

The Howe Island 8K Hustle, is the first of three Island races known as the "Tri-Island Race Series" which also includes The Wolfe Island Classic 5K, and the Amherst Island Wooly Bully 10K. The Howe Island event consists of the 8K run for all ages and a Kids 1-Mile Race. The course is fairly flat and vehicular traffic is nearly non-existent so this race is great for newcomers to the sport as well as seasoned runners.
