The Rainbow Trail Run is named after the trail being used at Earl Rowe,"Rainbow Run," which is named for the rainbow trout migration that occurs each Spring. The course iss mostly double wide, some grass, some dirt and a tiny bit of pavement (when crossing over park roads) and bridge crossings over Earl Rowe Lake. The Howling Ghost Trail Race is a 8K, 16K, or 24K trail run through the beautiful Carolinian forest of Springwater at the Springwater Conservation Area. This race is perfect for runners of all abilities. The trails are mostly wide, groomed, and extremely runnable. Depending on your distance, you'll run 1 loop, 2 loops, or 3 loops of the 8k course. The course is a beauty!
