Marathon by the Sea- Bay of Fundy 30K
Marathon by the Sea is changing it up for 2022, creating New Brunswick’s newest running event the Bay of Fundy 30K. The race weekend also includes a half-marathon, 10K, 5K, or colour run options. Participants have the opportunity to run seaside with the ocean breeze upon your face, and experience the full maritime hospitality of the only city on the spectacular Bay of Fundy.
DBA Diamond Dash
The DBA Diamond Dash is a virtual event to raise money for research to find a cure for Diamond Blackfan Anemia. Since 1907, Dartmouth has been hosting this historic event as part of the Natal Day Festival that celebrates the history and traditions of Halifax-Dartmouth. It still maintains somewhat unusual 6 Mile (9.6K) and 2 Mile (3.2K) race distances which are run on a two mile loop showcasing the city’s scenic harbour and waterfront.
Fat Dog 120 Trail Race
The Fat Dog 120 Trail Race may be the most scenic ultra race in Canada. The challenging point to point race straddles 3 stunning provincial parks, and one recreational area in British Columbia's Cascade Mountains. Expect stunning alpine views, meadows of wildflowers, a good mix of technical and non-technical trails, very little forest service road, a challenging profile, enthusiastic volunteers, and a lake at the end for soaking.
The Rainbow Trail Run is named after the trail being used at Earl Rowe,"Rainbow Run," which is named for the rainbow trout migration that occurs each Spring. The course iss mostly double wide, some grass, some dirt and a tiny bit of pavement (when crossing over park roads) and bridge crossings over Earl Rowe Lake. The Hah Nic Na' Aah Mountain Half Marathon takes place on the popular McCabe Trail in the Babine Mountains Provincial Park outside of Smithers. The route offers relatively easy access to alpine and includes stunning views as you make your way to the summit. Race registration includes a post-race banquet, and the first 80 registrants will receive a Dakine 50L bag emblazoned with the race logo.
All races including the half-marathon and (2-4 person) relays begin and end in Rotary Peace Park. The courses follow alongside or above the Yukon River. The trail is well worn and features significant elevation gain and loss so participants should expect an aerobic challenge. The routes are well-marked with trail markers and volunteers are posted at key points to keep everyone on track. After the races, post-race refreshments and festivities are enjoyed by all.
The Sunset Shuffle, aka, "Toronto's best kept running secret", is an evening run on Toronto Island. What makes this race great is the scenic island landscape and the intimate atmosphere. The course starts on Lakeshore Avenue, just south of the Centre Island Pavilion, and follows a counter-clockwise route around Centre Island. There will be 2 loops, with the finish just off Lakeshore Avenue near the Pavilion.
The Capes 100 is Atlantic Canada's first 100 Mile trail race. Running atop of the highest cliffs on mainland Nova Scotia, and alongside the waters of world's highest tides, this trail race is both inspiring and challenging. Choose between 100M, 100K, or 50K distance options, or sign up for the relay and run as part of a team. The course takes you along, Cape d'Or, Cape Spencer, Cape Chignecto.
The Middle Path Ultra is a chance to enjoy the beautiful and challenging trails of Kawartha Nordic. This is the first running event to be held at Kawartha Nordic during the summer months and it is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Organized by the Kawartha Lakes Lightning, participants can choose between 26K or 52K solo challenge, or take part in the 4X13K team event.
Race 4 in the Northern Alberta Race Series is at Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area, a beautiful scenic park located North of Stony Plain. Chickakoo is a non-technical course on wide Nordic ski trails with plenty of hills! Experience the thrill and excitement of the Annual Louisbourg Race Through Time! Imagine running along cobblestone streets, walked upon by the French almost 300 years ago, being met by an 18th century drummer and fifer at the Dauphin Gate. Run through time as you begin your journey at the Fortress of Louisbourg and proceed down to and through the modern community of Louisbourg ending back at the Fortress site. This Wooly Bully is a terrific family event which has three different distances: 5K/10K races and a kids 1K fun run. The 5/10K courses are very scenic, out and back routes along the South Shore of Lake Ontario. There will be at least 2 aid stations, and each kilometer will be marked.

On Running is touching down in Montreal, hosting a pop-up August 19th-21st. Besides showcasing our latest product, there are a variety of events including a 5K morning run (Friday), an evening Art Run (Friday), Light the Night relay (Saturday), and Peel the Hill run (Sunday). Black Spur Ultra
The Black Spur Ultra is a race wrought from the winding, technical single track that trail runners dream about. No pavement, big climbs through rugged terrain, and stunning scenery. Hosted at Kimberley Alpine Resort, you can walk to the start line right from your hotel room. Choose between 54K or 108K distances and bring your climbing legs because you will be dealing with elevations of 4460m or 2230 repectively.

A Halifax tradition since 1986, the Navy 10K is focused on the spirit of competition and the esprit de corps.
