Gopher Attack is an early spring Boston Qualifier with a flat and fast course that winds through scenic Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus.  There are four distances - Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, as well as a virtual option.  The event is a fundraiser for the MS Society and hosted by Marathon Matters Running Club.  

Toronto Marathon

The Toronto Marathon has been a tradition since 1977. The Marathon course is fast, downhill, and scenic. Starting at Mel Lastman Square in North York and finishing at Ontario Place, the Marathon winds through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods. The event also offers a notably fast half marathon, 10K, and 5K, as well as a team relay. Finishers receive one of Canada’s largest marathon medals.

Fredericton Marathon

The Fredericton Marathon (Est. 1978) occurs annually on Mother’s Day weekend and offers race options from 5K to the Boston Qualifying marathon. Participants enjoy flat and fast courses on the roads and trails along the majestic Saint John and Nashwaak Rivers. Runners will take part in point-to-point races with a separate start and finish line at Queen’s Park Square Participants in 10K, half marathon or full marathon events will have the opportunity to cross the Westmorland Street Bridge.

Halifax has gained a reputation for being a little “hill-y” but it’s nothing you can’t handle.

Saskatchewan Marathon
