Rocky Mountain Soap Women's Run CanmoreThis is a boutique women’s event starting at the Canmore Nordic Centre, offering a half-marathon and 10K run/walk on Saturday followed by another 10K and 5K on Sunday. The courses all afford spectacular views of the scenic mountainous countryside and run mostly along the Bow River. All participants receive signature swag from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company, a tech t-shirt and finisher's medal. Charity Fast and Female

Boot Race ReginaThe Boot Race is a 5K Handicap/Pursuit race, traditionally held at Rick Hansen Playground in A.E. Wilson Park. For those who have never run a handicap/pursuit race, or need a reminder, each runner starts the race based on his/her best 5K time in the past year. If everyone matched his/her time exactly, everyone would cross the finish line together. BUT, if you can beat your best time, you come across the line just a little bit ahead of everyone else.…
