The Big Canada Run

The Big Canada Run is a virtual cross Canada running event organized by a team of experienced race organizers and virtual training experts. The event’s goal is to keep people active and motivated all year round. The Big Canada Run consists of three different sub-events. The classic east-to-west route, from St. John’s, NL to Victoria, BC, covering 8,000km. A bigger challenge that starts in Victoria, BC, goes up to Whitehorse, Yukon, and finishes on the coast of NL covering 10,000km. Thirdly, the new Cycling Maple Challenge (Leg #1 + Leg #2) will take you East to West, then North and back East on an 18,000 km biking journey with your team. The event starts on Canada Day on July 1st and runs through the year (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024), allowing participating teams to complete as few as 2.2km a day.
