Rainforest Trail Run

The Rainforest Trail Run is an unique 5K run through the interior rainforest trails of Central Park (Burnaby, BC) with a start and finish inside Swangard Stadium. The run’s location blends the well-preserved temperate rainforest ecosystem of the 90-hectare park with vistas of Burnaby’s ever rising cityscape. The event was conceived by the Vancouver Sun Run founders as a way to help stimulate physical activity among people in local Indigenous communities, to grow participation in athletics and the love of fitness.
