The County Marathon takes place in Ontario’s beautiful Prince Edward County. The event features a Boston Qualifying Full Marathon, a Half Marathon as well as 50K Ultra. All events are open to runners, walkers and wheeled athletes. The course has been described as, gently rolling but fast. Charity Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation    

Gopher Attack is an early spring Boston Qualifier with a flat and fast course that winds through scenic Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus.  There are four distances – Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, as well as a virtual option.  The event is a fundraiser for the MS Society and hosted by Marathon Matters Running Club.  

The annual Run for the Hills takes place in Treherne, in south-central Manitoba. The courses take participants towards the eastern-most edge of the Tiger Hills situated just off the south side of Treherne. The routes are described as beautiful and scenic, especially at this time of year. **2020 event will be a virtual run  

The Winterman Marathon, Relay, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 3K are all an official event of Ottawa’s biggest and best winter festival…. Winterlude. The course runs out and back on the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway, when the weather permits, affords a view of the nation’s capital from alongside the Ottawa River. Be sure to dress warm as it is almost always frigid this time of year. Fee(s) $120 (Marathon); $95 (Half): $57 (10K); $50(5K); $40 (3K)  

This Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K  and 5K are flat, fast, and beautiful. Enjoy the scenic route along a beautiful, ocean side trail. All distances are an outback design and the route is completely flat! The only challenge you may face is the weather. The Marathon is the last Boston Qualifying course of the year. This welcoming event invites participants and their families to Carleton-sur-Mer on the shores of Baie-des-Chaleurs. The courses start and finish in Parc Germain-Deslauriers and run out-and-back along the shores of the bay affording scenic views. There are a few major hills on the otherwise flat marathon course and fresh refreshments at the finish.    

Held annually on the Thanksgiving weekend, the Trapline Marathon showcases the heritage and community spirit of Labrador. The point-to-point marathon course is unique in both its challenging course and spectacular seasonal scenery along the way from the start in North West River to the finish in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. At the finish participants enjoy refreshments including a buffet of traditional Labrador food.    

Texada Run the Rock Marathon provides a challenging course that will provide serious bragging rights. Runner’s can choose between the marathon, half marathon or 8K distance options. The marathon is a loop course starting and finishing at Shelter Point Regional Park. The half marathon is a point-to-point route along the second half of the marathon route. The 8K starts at the Texada Airport cross over Gillies Bay Road and proceed along the same route as the Full/Half Marathon to Shelter…

Mudcat Marathon Weekend features the Fishy 5K on Friday and then a full slate of races including a certified marathon, half, 10K and 5K on Saturday morning. Run along the scenic shores of Lake Erie and through beautiful cottage country.  

Get a taste of the beautiful rural Ontario during Waterloo’s Marathon and Half Marathon events. The courses start and finish in Bechtel Park. Both courses are certified, and the marathon is a Boston Qualifier. Enjoy the picturesque run through Mennonite country, and the Scottish pipers, piping along the course!
