**Tentative New Date** The Puddle Jumper Classic is the Sunshine Coast’s first ultramarathon. Started in 2017 it has quickly grown to be a loved and maybe a little hated course by a lot of runners. The Brookvale Ultra Trail Race is part of the Atlantic Regional Mountain Running Qualifying Series. The 10K course winds through the Nordic Ski Park. The 25K course uses Brookvale Provincial Park, the nordic ski trails, single-track mountain bike trails, a heritage road, and Provincial Forestry Demonstration Woodlot trails. Polar Paws Trail Race is a 5K, 10K or 25K winter trail run race through the beautiful single and double track trails of Durham Regional Forest. Run Ridge Run is a race offering challenging climbs, descents and technicality over either 13K or 25K routes. The 13K course skirts around Sasamat Lake on the Buntzen Ridge Trail and glimpses Buntzen Lake.
