The Iron Knee and Tender Knee are point-to-point races starting from Cleveland Park or Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve in North Vancouver. Racers will be treated to some great trails, including the infamous Powerline Climb. All this to be capped off with chocolate goodies and bragging rights as you race into the scenic finish line at Deep Cove. Fee(s) $45-65 (25K), $40-60 (13K)

The North Face Dirty Feet Kal Park 50 runs out of Kalamalka Provincial Park and will be quite different to the half marathon course in July. The event will include an 8K, 25K and 50K race options. The course is a 25K loop that the 50K runners will do twice. The 50K is once again the 2019 Canadian Mountain Running Championships 2019! Pick Your Poison Trail Run is a challenging 12.5 K loop through the beautiful hills of Horseshoe Valley. Distances include 12.5K, 25 K and 50 K.  The course consists of approximately 98% off-road terrain made up of a combination of single track and ski trails. Runners will start with a 3 K “flatter” section followed by 4 major climbs over the remaining 9.5 K.  This is a technical but rewarding race. *2020 registration opens December 2019

Nimble Bear is one tough cookie of a race. Whether you participate in the 10K, 25K or 50K events, you’ll be sure to feel challenged. The 50K course will roughly be 2 loops of the 25K, which is notably one of the hardest of its distance within BC, with 3350 feet of technical and steep terrain. The Fat Ass Trail Run started 10 years ago with 23 people and has grown to over 700. The event is held on private property so there are limits to what, when and how things are marked, as well as, limiting the impact on the natural surroundings. The Phantom Run is a relaxed and fun winter fundraising race through the lower reaches of the North Shore undulating trails near the Seymour River. Run technical and non-technical trails, with some steep climbs and descents. Post race enjoy, hot soup, and other delights. The Beav Trail Race is named after the Beaver Dam Trail that runs through Hilton Falls Conservation Area. Hilton Falls is hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts and is known to have some of the best trails around. The course is primarily made up of fast, groomed trails with some short but tougher and more technical sections thrown into the mix. The Valley Vertikiller is a challenging point-to-point trail race offering both 16K and 25K distances. The 25K is a killer race with nearly 1,500m of elevation gain, and the 16K is a vertical beast with over 1,100m. Both distances feature a grueling ascent up the peak of Sumas Mountain, complimented by views of the picturesque Chadsey Lake, and a flowy descent through the beautiful Fraser Valley.
