Broken Goat is BC’s most rustic ultra. This unique point to point race takes runners up 4 peaks and 2 ridges, along the 7 summits trail and Red Mountain Resort, in Rossland. Runners should expect a mix of single track and alpine trails with some peaks only having ribbon marking your way. Conquer The Canuck Marathon Ultra Trail Weekend is scheduled to take place at Shade’s Mills Conservation, in Cambridge Ontario. Shade’s Mills has been called the best-kept secret in Cambridge, it’s conservation area has 12 km of hiking trails through a mature hardwood forest that winds along Mill Creek. Participants can register for single day races, or a 2 day staged event, Classic Canuck (25K + Marathon) and Ultimate Canuck (50K + Marathon). The Puddle Jumper Classic is the Sunshine Coast’s first ultramarathon. Started in 2017 it has quickly grown to be a loved and maybe a little hated course by a lot of runners. It lives up to its name with plenty of puddles and creeks to cross throughout the course. Most of the course is on single trail with rocks, roots and creeks to keep you on your toes. Sulphur Springs is memorable running experience. The race starts at the Ancaster Community Centre and weaves its way through  the beautiful trails of the Dundas Valley. The race offers events for everyone from the casual weekend warrior to the hard-core racer to the corporate team looking for a group challenge. The Iron Knee and Tender Knee are point-to-point races starting from Cleveland Park or Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve in North Vancouver. Racers will be treated to some great trails, including the infamous Powerline Climb. All this to be capped off with chocolate goodies and bragging rights as you race into the scenic finish line at Deep Cove. Fee(s) $45-65 (25K), $40-60 (13K)

The North Face Dirty Feet Kal Park 50 runs out of Kalamalka Provincial Park and will be quite different to the half marathon course in July. The event will include an 8K, 25K and 50K race options. The course is a 25K loop that the 50K runners will do twice. The 50K is once again the 2019 Canadian Mountain Running Championships 2019! The Rugged Raccoon Trail Race is our first night-time trail race.  For those who enjoy running in the woods at night, this is the event for you.  It is also a great opportunity for runners who are training for an upcoming ultra race that will require you to run through the night. Pick Your Poison Trail Run is a challenging 12.5 K loop through the beautiful hills of Horseshoe Valley. Distances include 12.5K, 25 K and 50 K.  The course consists of approximately 98% off-road terrain made up of a combination of single track and ski trails. Runners will start with a 3 K “flatter” section followed by 4 major climbs over the remaining 9.5 K.  This is a technical but rewarding race. *2020 registration opens December 2019

Nimble Bear is one tough cookie of a race. Whether you participate in the 10K, 25K or 50K events, you’ll be sure to feel challenged. The 50K course will roughly be 2 loops of the 25K, which is notably one of the hardest of its distance within BC, with 3350 feet of technical and steep terrain. The 10K is no small potato either with 1,400 feet elevation gain. The terrain in all 3 distances is mostly single-track. Registration opens January…
