The Red Nose Run is a 2.5km fun run open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Starting just prior to The Chronicle Herald Holiday Parade of Lights, this is the only nighttime fun-run through downtown Halifax, guided by hundreds of blinking red noses. Dress in your finest holiday costume and don your blinking red nose in support of the QEII Foundation. Fee(s) $35 Charity QEII Foundation

The Laurier Loop is a fun, challenging , and exciting event running loops around the Wilfrid Laurier University. Choose a 4-loop 10K, 2-loop 5K, a 1-loop 2.5K, or participate as a relay member. The Laurier Loop seeks to create a community-focused environment and welcomes members of the public and Laurier students alike to come out and run. ** 2020 Race Cancelled

This popular event offers several exciting race options to suit every age and ability. The signature half-marathon starts from la Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and follows the historic Chemin du Roy along the north shores of the Saint Lawrence and concludes with a tour of Cap Tourmente. All races finish at l’École secondaire du Mont-Sainte-Anne in Beaupré. At the finish, participants enjoy refreshments including beer from Microbrasserie Des Beaux Pres. **2020 event cancelled  

The Vancouver Sun Run has been Canada’s largest 10K road race since its inception in 1985, and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. The 10K route is a beautiful scenic course which begins in Vancouver’s downtown core runs towards the world famous Stanley Park, continuing along English Bay, winding its way to the Cambie Street Bridge for the final stretch across the bridge to the finish line.  The course truly showcases the beauty of the city.
