The Wild Run For Conservation is an annual fundraising event to support animal conservation and The Calgary Zoo’s efforts to sustain threatened wildlife in Canada and around the world. The Farmers Helping Farmers event is either a single loop course for the 5 Miler, or 2 loops for the 10 Miler. The route takes runners through in a large portion of the Rotary Friendship Park. Post race, participants can enjoy some food made by students in the culinary program at Three Oaks.

The Islendingadarurinn 10 Mile Road Race is the flattest, fastest, point to point race course in Manitoba. Race day registration and the starting point will be in Winnipeg Beach. The course travels north along Hwy #9 to Gimli and finishes at the pavilion park.
