Since its inception in November 1987, the Demi-marathon de l'Acadie/Acadia Half-marathon has taken place on the first Sunday of every month starting promptly at 10 a.m. Rain or shine, wind or snow, participants of all abilities have taken on the net downhill point-to-point course from St. Isidore to Tracadie-Sheila on New Brunswick’s east coast.
Run and race to celebrate the Stampede. All races start at the Glenmore Athletic Park and finish on the track. The Half marathon distance is a loop course that circles the reservoir, follows the Elbow River and passes through scenic parks and forests. Located off the north west coast of B.C, Haida Gwaii is the home and traditional territory of the Haida, and it is host to the Totem to Totem Marathon. The event offers 3 distance options, Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K. All three distance are run on an out and back route course, starting at the Kaay Haida Heritage Centre at Second Beach in Skidegate. The Marathon course is a certiﬁed Boston Marathon Qualiﬁer.
Barrington Passage, located on the South Western shore of Nova Scotia, is the lobster capital of Canada and also plays host to the Sea Me Run Nova Scotia Marathon. The certified and Boston qualifier course features rolling hills on country roads and is run as two large loops in a figure eight configuration which starts and finishes near the local arena. A virtual option is also available.
Marathon by the Sea is changing it up for 2022, creating New Brunswick’s newest running event the Bay of Fundy 30K. The race weekend also includes a half-marathon, 10K, 5K, or colour run options. Participants have the opportunity to run seaside with the ocean breeze upon your face, and experience the full maritime hospitality of the only city on the spectacular Bay of Fundy.
The Hah Nic Na' Aah Mountain Half Marathon takes place on the popular McCabe Trail in the Babine Mountains Provincial Park outside of Smithers. The route offers relatively easy access to alpine and includes stunning views as you make your way to the summit. Race registration includes a post-race banquet, and the first 80 registrants will receive a Dakine 50L bag emblazoned with the race logo.
