The course is relatively flat and fast with the exception of two small hills on the way out and two on the way back. The surface is a combination of 80% trail and 20% road.

The Spring Run-Off
Spring Run-Off Toronto, Ontario, CanadaThe Spring Run-Off is the annual kick-off of the Canada Running Series. The run celebrates the return of spring in Toronto taking participants around the hills of High Park in either an 8K or 5K distance option. The event focuses on family-friendly fitness, and all in-person participants receive a souvenir shirt and finisher medal feauturing designs inspired by the nature and wildlife in High Park.

Howe Island 8K Hustle Howe Island, Kingston, Ontario, CanadaThe Howe Island 8K Hustle, is the first of three Island races known as the "Tri-Island Race Series" which also includes The Wolfe Island Classic 5K, and the Amherst Island Wooly Bully 10K. The Howe Island event consists of the 8K run for all ages and a Kids 1-Mile Race. The course is fairly flat and vehicular traffic is nearly non-existent so this race is great for newcomers to the sport as well as seasoned runners.
Mews Memorial 8K Road Race
Mews Memorial 8K Road Race St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, CanadaThis is one of the oldest continuous road running races in the province, with more than 35 years of racing. The course is fast and runs from the Mundy Pond area to Quidi Vidi Lake. It is a popular event as a tune up to the Tely 10 each summer.
Cambridge Mill Race
Cambridge Mill Race Riverbluffs Park, Cambridge, OntarioThe Cambridge Mill Race is an out-and-back course along the Walter Bean trail, which is part of The Great Trail system. The surface is mainly hard-packed dirt and stone dust with a few asphalt sections. The turn-around point is on the paved bike path that runs alongside Blair Road. There will be a water station at the 4K mark. A post-race lunch is provided by The Cambridge Mill to registered participants, you must show your bib to get your meal.
Midsummer 8K
Midsummer 8K Gyro Park, Kelowna, British Columbia, CanadaThe Midsummer 8K begins and ends at Gyro Park with a turnaround in City Park. The route is a 8km loop along Lakeshore passing through one of Kelowna’s nicest residential district (not to mention a sprint through City Park).
