Bear Mountain is a true gem that many in the Fraser Valley running community adore. With challenging climbs and flowy single track, you'll be inspired regardless of the distance you choose. The 21K route also showcases neighbouring, Red Mountain, giving runners a great taste of the beautiful Fraser Valley location. All the routes are loop-based and will tour through mossy forests, tall trees, and openings displaying the surrounding mountain ranges.

Sydenham Fall Trail Run

The Sydenham Fall Trail Run is a picturesque 8km runs along the north shore of Sydenham Lake on the Cataraqui Trail. The course is relatively flat and fast with the exception of two small hills on the way out and two on the way back. The surface is a combination of 80% trail and 20% road.

As Ottawa weather turns cold and wet, the country’s best cross country racers will heat up the trails of our Nation’s Capital for the 2022 Canadian Cross Country Championships, to be held November 26. The second edition of the national cross country championships hosted in Ottawa will be privileged to be held at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility and Mooney’s Bay.

The Howling Ghost Trail Race

The Howling Ghost Trail Race is a 8K, 16K, or 24K trail run through the beautiful Carolinian forest of Springwater at the Springwater Conservation Area. This race is perfect for runners of all abilities. The trails are mostly wide, groomed, and extremely runnable. Depending on your distance, you'll run 1 loop, 2 loops, or 3 loops of the 8k course. Robbie Burns 8K

Hosted by the Burlington Runners Club, the annual Robbie Burns 8K is a popular mid-winter event for runners and walkers of all abilities. Run on the city streets of Burlington, the certified course starts/finishes on Elgin Street next to the Burlington Performing Arts Center. Expect costumes and bagpipes. Hatley Castle 8K

Part of the Island Race Series, the Hatley Castle 8K has something for everyone. Run through the beautiful Hatley Castle National Historic Park grounds, the course is a mix of road and crushed gravel with some challenging but rewarding climbs. The Hatley Castle is hosted by Frontrunners.    

The Spring Run-Off

The Spring Run-Off is the annual kick-off of the Canada Running Series. The run celebrates the return of spring in Toronto taking participants around the hills of High Park in either an 8K or 5K distance option. The event focuses on family-friendly fitness, and all in-person participants receive a souvenir shirt and finisher medal feauturing designs inspired by the nature and wildlife in High Park.
