Taking place in ‘the outdoor recreation capital of Canada’ the Squamish 50 Trail Running Festival begins early on Saturday with the 50 mile (80K) race starting at the Squamish Oceanfront. Participants ascend some 3350m before descending to the finish at Pavilion Park.
