Run for Reconciliation
The Run for Reconciliation is a 5K run or 3K walk along the St. Albert river to raise awareness for children of residential schools and the survivors. The Run/Walk begins at the Lions Park and ends at the St Albert Healing Garden, participants will receive an orange ribbon to carry along, and you can tie the ribbon around the gazebo posts in the Healing Garden reflecting on the survivors, their families, and those children who never made it home. Barrington Passage, located on the South Western shore of Nova Scotia, is the lobster capital of Canada and also plays host to the Sea Me Run Nova Scotia Marathon. Nasty Nuttby Killer 5K
The Nasty Nuttby Killer 5K is back in the Cobequid Hills this Summer. Event participants will run, walk, and crawl to the top of Nuttby Mountain, the highest runnable point in mainland Nova Scotia. The run will entail approximately 200 meters elevation gain up to the windmills with no significant downhills. This will be a timed event but... you can probably forget the PRs! Prizes for the King and Queen of the mountain!
