**Virtual Event Since its inception in November 1987, the Demi-marathon de l'Acadie/Acadia Half-marathon has taken place on the first Sunday of every month starting promptly at 10 a.m. Rain or shine, wind or snow, participants of all abilities have taken on the net downhill point-to-point course from St. Isidore to Tracadie-Sheila on New Brunswick’s east coast.

60 North Run
The 60° North Run is a 60km challenge making reference to the 60th parallel north, that constitutes Canada's mainland boundary between the northern territories and the provinces. Participants can run, walk, hike or ski 60km from January 1st to the 31st, conquer the challenge, and start the year with a bang. Hosted by the Burlington Runners Club, the annual Robbie Burns 8K is a popular mid-winter event for runners and walkers of all abilities. The 2021 event will be virtual, run or walk an 8 K course of your choosing any time between January 23 - 31. Keeping the costume contest tradition, submit pictures to participate in the contest and they will be posted on our website along with the winning entry.

Shiver ‘N Giver Challenge
Shiver 'N Giver is a virtual activity challenge hosted by the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation. Registered participants challenge themselves to skate, ski, snowshoe, walk or run a cumulative distance of 21k to be completed over the duration of Winterlude ‘21. The challenge can be completed from any location and finishers receive a commemorative medal.

In this unique Winter event, runners compete as individuals for KRRA series points, but can also compete as male-female teams for “twosome” overall and combined age group placings. Your Twosome Run can take place anywhere. Pick a 5K route and submit your course time as many times as you wish over the race period. Your best time will count in the final standings.
