Marathon by the Sea is changing it up for 2022, creating New Brunswick’s newest running event the Bay of Fundy 30K. The race weekend also includes a half-marathon, 10K, 5K, or colour run options. Participants have the opportunity to run seaside with the ocean breeze upon your face, and experience the full maritime hospitality of the only city on the spectacular Bay of Fundy.
Laps Around Lymphoma is a fitness challenge to raise awareness of lymphoma and funds for lymphoma programs and resources. Participants are challenged to take 100,000 steps in honour of the 100,000 Canadians currently living with lymphoma. Prizes are available for those who take the most steps and for those who fundraise the most. The Tobermory Trail Race is a chance to run iconic sections of the Bruce Trail through Bruce Peninsula National Park in Ontario’s most unique trail run. Participant can choose between marathon or half-marathon distance options, or take part in the Flowerpot Island 5K, which includes a ferry ride and breakfast on the island.
The Island Lake Classic 10K & 5K race starts and ends in picturesque Island Lake Conservation Area, in the Town of Mono, next door to Orangeville. The course is largely groomed trails with plenty of bridge crossings of the lake to guarantee an enjoyable event. The event is fun for the whole family, and admission to the park is free for participants and volunteers. A virtual option is also available.
The North Bay Road Race is Northern Ontario’s newest road race! Starting at the North Bay Museum, the flat and fast course takes you through scenic Memorial Drive, along Kate Pace Way past Lee Park and Veteran's Field. The 5K and 10K routes offer something for everyone. Post-race, celebrate at Jordan's Bash for Hope featuring incredible performers and local food and drink vendors. The Fredericton Fall Classic features a half-marathon, 10K and 5K that run in and around downtown Fredericton. Participants cross the mighty Saint John River where the 5K runners turn around, and along paved trails to the town of Marysville—the 10K turn-around—and further along the Nashwaak River before hitting the half-way point and heading back downtown.
BIST Heroes 5K Run, Walk, Roll OR Bike is a fun filled morning to support a great cause. Bring your family, friends, pups and co-workers, break out your capes and superhero costume support programs & services for people living with the effects of brain injury. All funds raised will go towards supporting BIST's programs and services, such as, social drop-in programs, community meetings, workshops and support groups.
