Brickyard Beast 10K

The Brickyard Beast is a 10k Walk/Run. This event is an out-and-back loop over paved roadway that passes through lush forest teeming with wildlife. Since 1907, Dartmouth has been hosting this historic event as part of the Natal Day Festival that celebrates the history and traditions of Halifax-Dartmouth. It still maintains somewhat unusual 6 Mile (9.6K) and 2 Mile (3.2K) race distances which are run on a two mile loop showcasing the city’s scenic harbour and waterfront.    

Hah Nic Na’ Aah Mountain Half Marathon

The Hah Nic Na' Aah Mountain Half Marathon takes place on the popular McCabe Trail in the Babine Mountains Provincial Park outside of Smithers. The route offers relatively easy access to alpine and includes stunning views as you make your way to the summit. Race registration includes a post-race banquet, and the first 80 registrants will receive a Dakine 50L bag emblazoned with the race logo.

Held annually during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September, this family-friendly event raises vital funds to provide support, enable vital research and fuel advocacy efforts across Canada. Participants can register to attend an in-person Walk event in their community, or register as a virtual participant, walking a route of their own choosing. All proceeds support Ovarian Cancer Canada.
