The Pacific Distance Carnival & Canadian 10,000m Championships is designed to bring new excitement to long distance track racing while also offering Canadian & International Athletes an ideal environment to achieve personal best performances. The Pacific Distance Carnival offers both Olympic and Paralympic competitions as well as opportunities for recreational runners to compete alongside current and future Olympians.

This is a boutique women’s event starting at the Canmore Nordic Centre, offering a half-marathon and 10K run/walk on Saturday followed by another 10K and 5K on Sunday. The courses all afford spectacular views of the scenic mountainous countryside and run mostly along the Bow River.
