Freedom to Move unites Canadians from coast-to-coast to raise awareness and critical funds for dystonia. The Big Canada Run is a virtual cross Canada running event organized by a team of experienced race organizers and virtual training experts. The event's goal is to keep people active and motivated all year round. The Big Canada Run consists of three different sub-events. The classic east-to-west route, from St. John's, NL to Victoria, BC, covering 8,000km. The Peachland run is an annual Canada Day Celebration. Meeting at Heritage Park,the race is an out and back course along the Waterfront.

A Canada Day tradition, Canada Day Limestone Mile is organized and supported by the Kingston Road Runners Association in support of its charitable causes. It’s four short races in one morning with team competition as well. The course for this classic race distance is two loops finishing in front of Boucher Park.    

Run for Reconciliation

Run for Reconciliation Lions Park, St. Albert

The Run for Reconciliation is a 5K run or 3K walk along the St. Albert river to raise awareness for children of residential schools and the survivors. The Run/Walk begins at the Lions Park and ends at the St Albert Healing Garden, participants will receive an orange ribbon to carry along, and you can tie the ribbon around the gazebo posts in the Healing Garden reflecting on the survivors, their families, and those children who never made it home.
