The Golden Ultra is a three-day stage running race in Golden, BC. Runners choose between two stage race distances, or building one's own event by selecting a preferred distance each day. The Beaver Flat 50 is the best worst thing you'll do in September. The course is a hilly, hard-as-hell trail run at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. The terrain is off-camber very narrow animal trail, lined with cacti, juniper bushes, rocks, and sand. Prepare for over 2300 meters of vertical gain across 50 kilometers; it will feel like hill repeats in the worst kind of way. If you are looking for a challenge this is the event for you.
The Tobermory Trail Race is a chance to run iconic sections of the Bruce Trail through Bruce Peninsula National Park in Ontario’s most unique trail run. Participant can choose between marathon or half-marathon distance options, or take part in the Flowerpot Island 5K, which includes a ferry ride and breakfast on the island.
