Vancouver Sun Run

The Vancouver Sun Run has been Canada’s largest 10K road race since its inception in 1985. This spring classic regularly hosts participants of all ages and abilities who walk and run for fitness, fun and for a good cause. The point-to-point 10K route is a beautiful scenic course beginning in Vancouver’s downtown core. Participants enjoy the views as they make their way towards the world famous Stanley Park, continuing along English Bay, across the Burrard Street bridge, winding along Fir Street towards Cambie Street Bridge for the final stretch across the bridge to the finish line. The course truly showcases all the beauty of this wonderful city, including views of distant mountains. Roads used are completely closed to vehicular traffic and streams of observers watch and cheer from the along the sidewalks. If you prefer a shorter course, or if you’d like to get the whole family out together, join the 2.5K run.
