The Emerald Mile

Bring your festive spirit, come dressed in green, and run The Emerald Mile. The one mile course offers a truly unique experience, following the parade route through the heart of the capital. Starting at the Supreme Court of Canada on Wellington Street, the route passes in front of Parliament Hill, crosses the Rideau Canal, continues along Sussex Drive, turns onto York Street, and finishes in the vibrant ByWard Market. It’s your chance to run some of Ottawa’s most iconic streets in the middle of a city wide celebration.
